The International Criminal Police Organization – INTERPOL – is an inter-governmental organisation with 196 member countries. INTERPOL enables member countries to share and access data on crimes and criminals, as well as offering a range of technical and operational support. Each country has an INTERPOL National Central Bureau which is the central point of contact for the General Secretariat and other National Central Bureaus.  

The webinar will provide an overview of INTERPOL’s activities and its institutional and legal framework. It will focus on INTERPOL’s flagship tool, namely the Notices System, in particular INTERPOL’s Red Notices. It will also address recent developments such as the new INTERPOL Silver Notice, which is issued for the purpose of asset tracing. 

This 60-minute webinar will be held in English and no interpretation will be provided. However, attendees can access automated translated captions via the Zoom platform during the webinar. All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.  The webinar is open to all IAP organisational and individual members.
