Webinar
All organisational and individual members of the IAP are invited to join us for a webinar organised jointly by the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) and the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) on the importance of developing a persuasive case strategy.

This webinar will examine how prosecutors can develop and present a persuasive case theory that connects the legal framework with a compelling presentation of the facts.

Part I will address building a fact-based narrative grounded in the law.
Part II will explore how to apply storytelling techniques - theme, framing, perspective, and strategic emphasis - to enhance persuasion and clarity.

Prosecutors will gain practical tools to strengthen case presentation from initial theory development through to closing argument.

Moderator: Gina Cabrejo, Senior Counsel, National Association of Attorneys General

Speakers:
1.    Ari Telisman, Director of Legal Skills Training and Faculty Development, National Association of Attorneys General
2.    Jason Slothouber, Chief Trial Counsel, Colorado Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Unit, USA

Facilitator: Irina Beridze, Executive Programme Manager, International Association of Prosecutors

This one-hour webinar will be held in English. No interpretation will be provided. However, attendees can access live automated interpretation and translated captions via the Zoom platform during the webinar. All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.

The webinar is open to all IAP organisational and individual members and all NAAG members.
