Standards for prosecutors

The ‘Standards of Professional Responsibility and Statement of the Essential Duties and Rights of Prosecutors’ were developed within the association and were approved by the IAP in 1999. The standards serve as an international benchmark for the conduct of individual prosecutors and of prosecution services.
