5/10/2019

From 6-10 May 2019 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, PSV Network Co-Focal Point for Knowledge Exchange Barbara Goy integrated a module on sexual violence crimes in an advanced training course on investigating and prosecuting international crimes for participants from French speaking African countries. 26 prosecutors and investigative judges from the Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, the Niger and Senegal and the Special Criminal Court in the Central African Republic participated in the training. The training followed an interactive model built around a fictitious case study which combined an introduction into the topic with group exercises followed by interactive discussions. This training was organised in cooperation with and funded by the International Nuremberg Principles Academy.
