Call for nominations: Justice Rapid Response Roster Recruitment Course
Date: Monday 11 November 2019 - Friday 15 November 2019
JRR Roster Recruitment Courses are an integral part of the recruitment process for the JRR Roster and the decision on the certification of the participants will be taken after the course is completed. The goal of this year’s course is to increase the pool of experts from the global south, ODA-recipient countries (20 places in the course), and with IT/digital/database expertise (5 places in the course), who are ready to deploy to national, international, and regional accountability and transitional justice mechanisms and can be released at short notice. These deployments help ensure those bodies have highly specialized expertise to properly document, investigate, analyze and prosecute international core crimes and serious human rights violations. Previous examples include support to States, the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, UN Commissions of Inquiry and Fact-Finding Missions, the International Criminal Court (ICC), international and hybrid courts, and truth commissions, among others.
If this is applicable to you, we cordially invite you to seek nomination for the upcoming course and to apply using the online platform.
