The IAP Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is, subject to the decision of the General Meeting, the governing body of the Association. The Association elects a President, up to nine Vice-Presidents and 21 other ordinary members constituting the Executive Committee. The membership of the Executive Committee shall reflect the regions of the world in which the Association has members.
The IAP Officials
The Executive Committee appoints a Secretary General who is the Chief Executive of the Association and manages its day to day affairs of the Association; a General Counsel, who is the legal counsellor to the Executive Committee and who manages the professional programme and the project work of the Association; and an Executive Director who is responsible for the membership relations and recruitments and for the Association’s network development and facilitation.
The IAP Senate
The Senate of the Association consists of past members of the Executive Committee. It operates in conjunction with the President and the Executive Committee. The Senate serves as an advisory body and imposed other responsibilities to promote the objects and functioning of the Association.
The Office of the Association
The Office of the Association is based in The Hague, the Netherlands, where the Secretary-General, Han Moraal; the Senior Legal Advisor, Edith van den Broeck; the Legal Advisor, Gemma Moran; and the Executive Administration Manager, Benn van Alphen work.
The General Counsel, Gary Balch works from the Crown Prosecution Service in United Kingdom; the Supporting Officer, Irina Beridze works from the Office of the Chief Prosecutor of Georgia in Tbilisi, Georgia; and the Executive Director, Janne Holst Hübner, works from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Denmark.
The IAP Regional Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia is based in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation, where the Executive Officer, Hermann Horn and Assistant Tatiana Kozhevnikova work.
