VACANCY: IAP General Counsel Position

The IAP Executive Committee decided to run a second announcement of the vacancy. New deadline for applications is 24 April 2015

In 2014 the IAP announced the vacancy of the IAP General Counsel position for appointment in September 2015. As part of the ongoing IAP reform project, the role and position of the IAP General Counsel has been changed to better fit into the new organisational structure.

To attract applicants who have an ongoing affiliation to a Prosecution Service, the IAP Executive Committee has decided to offer the option of splitting the role of General Counsel into two part-time positions. Consequently, it has been decided to run a second announcement of the vacancy.

Those interested in applying for the General Counsel position should send an expression of interest (maximum 500 words) together with a curriculum vitae to the IAP Secretary-General, Mr. Derk Kuipers on or before 24 April 2015.

Selection Process:

Following the closing date, the IAP Application Review Group will review the applications and produce a short list. The short listed applicants will be invited for interviews either at the Secretariat in The Hague or through a virtual platform in May 2015.
