Obituary Mr. Suchart Traiprasit

Former Attorney General of Thailand and IAP Senator, H.E. Mr. Suchart Traiprasit passed away on 18 December 2015.

It is with great sadness that we have learned that former Attorney General of Thailand and IAP Senator, H.E. Mr. Suchart Traiprasit passed away on 18 December 2015.

Mr. Traiprasit was the second Thai member of the Executive Committee of the IAP, a position he held with enthusiasm from 1998 to 2002. After his resignation, Mr. Traiprasit became an IAP Senator.

He was a staunch supporter of the Association: in 1999 he hosted the first “secretariat-meeting” of the Association in Bangkok, where he proved to be a generous host.

The IAP conveys its sincere condolences to the family of  Mr. Traiprasit and to all those affected by this loss.
