Han Moraal - Chair of the GPEN committee
Han Moraal is currently the National Member for the Netherlands at Eurojust. Before that he was appointed as Procurator-General and member of the Board of Procurators-General and after that National Chief Advocate-general. He started as a prosecutor with the Public Prosecution Service in 1987 in Rotterdam, from where he moved in 1994 to the Zwolle Lelystad District Court. In 1996, Han Moraal was appointed Chief Public Prosecutor to the Flevoland police region, and in 1998, was appointed Chief Public Prosecutor at Groningen District Court, followed in 2003 with his appointment in 2007 as Chief Public Prosecutor at The Hague District Court.
Dr Ali AlBuainain
Dr. Ali AlBuainain is the Attorney General of the Kingdom of Bahrain. He is member of the Executive Committee of the IAP and Board member of GPEN. He holds PhD in Criminal Law and specializes in Criminal Procedures and Penal Codes. He delivers lectures locally and internationally and has published several books.
Rory Field is Director of Public Prosecutions of Bermuda. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the IAP. In 2003 – 2007 he was Legal Advisor on Organized Crime to the OSCE Mission to Serbia. In 1999 – 2001 he served as Director of Public Prosecutions of Belize. Prior to that, Rory was Treasurer of the Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales and practiced at the Criminal Bar in London.
Cheol-Kyu Hwang is currently the Deputy Minister (Chief Prosecutor) for Crime Prevention Policy of the Ministry of Justice in South Korea. He is also a vice president of International Association of Prosecutors.
From 2001 to 2003, he had served as a Legal Counselor at the Permanent Mission of Korea to the United Nations. Between 2006 and 2008, as Director of International Criminal Affairs Division at the Ministry of Justice he has dealt with a plenty of transnational criminal cases including cyber crimes. He took charge of preparation for the 4th World Summit for Prosecutors General, Attorneys General and Chief Prosecutors, and the 16th Annual Conference of IAP, held in Seoul in 2011 as Chief of International Cooperation Center at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office(SPO).
